MoreSound baths
in Miami.
A sound bath in Miami typically runs 60 to 75 minutes: you lie down, cover your eyes, and let live instruments carry the nervous system into rest. Modern ŌM hosts weekly sessions across the city's most considered spaces.
What actually happens in the room
You arrive fifteen minutes early. Shoes come off at the door. Someone shows you to a mat, a bolster under the knees, a blanket, an eye cover. The room is dim. Phones go face-down on airplane mode. A facilitator says a few honest sentences about what to expect, and then the sound begins.
At a Modern ŌM sound bath the instruments vary by facilitator. Crystal singing bowls and gongs are the classic pairing. Our MindTravel evenings with Murray Hidary are a different animal entirely: live piano beamed to wireless headphones so the audience hears the same intimate signal at once, whether we are on a rooftop, in an atrium, or barefoot at Indian Beach Park.
Who it is for
People who cannot meditate but wish they could. People who work in high-stimulation jobs and cannot switch off at night. Creatives looking for a source. New parents. Couples on date night. Anyone who has been staring at a screen for ten hours and forgotten what their shoulders feel like.
Bring, wear, expect
Bring a refillable water bottle. Wear something warm and unstructured, the kind of thing you would wear on a long flight. Expect to fall in and out of a doze. Expect a few images or memories to surface. Expect to feel about twenty percent lighter in the walk to the car.
Miami venues we work with

Facilitators
Modern ŌM sound baths run $33 to $65 depending on venue and format. MindTravel live-to-headphones concerts sit at the higher end. Members pay less through the ŌMie membership.
Soft, warm layers. The body cools when it rests, and most sound baths keep you lying still for 45 to 60 minutes. Skip anything with hardware that will dig into your back.
No. There is nothing to perform and nothing to figure out. You lie down. The instruments do the work. Most people at any given sound bath are first-timers.
Rotating venues: Tierra Santa at Faena Miami Beach, the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort, Soho House Miami, and the Miami Beach EDITION. Outdoor sessions happen at Indian Beach Park and rooftops across South Beach and Brickell.
Every venue has valet or a nearby municipal lot. On event pages we call out the specific option and note when street parking is easy versus tight.
